However most of these Auto movers operate by transporting 10 to 11 vehicles using the same route and that is why it very important to be planned and schedule your pick up dates at least a month before. These companies will also have standard dates for transport and give you all the dates that are possible for pick up. They cannot have it shipped any day you want because a truck should be available on that route. If there are not enough cars then the auto movers  will not schedule the pickup and this is why it is advised strongly that always expect delays and nothing works like clock work except the clock. You should always allow some cushion for delays and be prepared in terms of time if there are delays.

Delays may happen because the moving company does not have enough cars to transport, there may be bad weather conditions and is unfavorable for driving huge trucks, it also can be that the truck has not arrived. Most of these things are out of your hands and the Auto moves control. However as an end result it will affect you the most if you are not prepared. So never leave anything to chance and take extra care to prepare your move to be swift and smooth. The moving companies always insist on giving enough time to load and unload your car and warn you of these possibilities before hand.
